The First Estate of Ascension is a non-profit organization based in Newark, New Jersey, dedicated to engaging and empowering the youth in trade skills. Our primary goal is to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and training to succeed in the business world.

Building a Foundation for Success

Through our two-year program, participants have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in home building. Unlike traditional classroom settings, our program offers actual one-on-one training in real construction projects. This immersive approach allows students to develop essential skills while ensuring their safety through comprehensive safety training.

At the First Estate of Ascension, we believe that there are no shortcuts in life. As the world continues to evolve at the speed of light, it becomes increasingly important to equip our youth with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing society. Preparing for the Future

Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in our entrepreneurship business program. This program aims to build character, instill life skills, and teach essential financial management, such as balancing a checkbook. Additionally, we prioritize drug prevention education to ensure that our students have the tools to make informed and healthy choices.

Our dedicated team includes Chris, our golf instructor, who brings over 31 years of experience to our program. Golfing is not only a sport but also a valuable life skill that teaches discipline, patience, and focus. Through Chris’s guidance, our students can develop both physical and mental strength, preparing them for challenges they may face in their entrepreneurial journey.
